CCBC Breakfast Brief

April 9, 2025 - April 24, 2025

You are invited to an exclusive CCBC Breakfast Brief for HR professionals, where we will explore how AI can revolutionize employee training through interactive educational games with special guest Professor Rowe, CEO of Fountain Adobe.

Professor Rowe, CEO of Fountain Abode, is the creator of the TrapC programming language, a memory-safe extension of C designed for unhackable, crash-proof software. A seasoned AI expert, Rowe has helped organizations leverage AI for interactive educational games and professional development. As a navy research scientist, he built VR games used to train NATO Special Forces and a flight simulator used to test naval aviators. As chairman of the UN ITU Medical Metaverse Task Group and former AR Group engineering manager at the World Health Organization (WHO), Rowe pioneered metaverse-based telemedicine training. He also led the development of ANSI/ISO 56007, integrating Agile and generative AI into quality assurance standards.

Student Engagement Food Lockers

August 27, 2025 - December 18, 2026

Student food lockers provide snacks, meals, and personal hygiene items for students. All CCBC students will have the opportunity to sign up for a locker each week! Locker reservations will be confirmed for Wednesdays at noon until Tuesdays at noon. Lockers can be accessed anytime the college is open!

CCBC Center for Business Innovation & Trades Growth Lab Accelerator Program

Information session for the Growth Lab Accelerator that supports established small businesses in Randallstown that need help pivoting, overcoming challenges, or finding resources to grow. Attendees will learn more about the program, who is eligible and how to apply for the program.

School of Health Professions Registered Nursing Information Session

November 13, 2025 - November 13, 2025

Get an overview of the registered nursing program, including information about prerequisites, and meet the program directors. You'll also learn about the School of Health Professions application process. Held virtually and in-person. Students who attend in-person will also get a tour of the lab and simulation center.

CCBC Associate to Bachelor's Nursing Information Sessions

October 15, 2025 - October 15, 2026

Learn about CCBC's associate to bachelor's (ATB) nursing degree option at an information session this year. Registration is required and will open for each event about one month prior to the event. The dates are listed below; if you click on an event and it does not load, registration may not be open yet.

2026 Information Session Dates:

• January 21 - Virtual
• April 16 - In Person at CCBC Essex
• August 20 - Virtual
• October 15 - In Person at CCBC Catonsville

ATB Nursing students take courses concurrently at CCBC and at one collaborating university. This allows students to complete their Bachelor of Science degrees within two to three terms, part-time while working as a Registered Nurse, after completing their CCBC Associate of Science degrees.
