How will this event be held?

The meeting will take place via Zoom. Check your email for an event link and details. Be sure to add us to your Address Book and Safe Sender list. If you do not receive your email, you may need to check your spam or junk folder and move the email to your inbox.

How do I access the event in Zoom?

1. Open Your Email Client: Start by opening your email client, whether it's Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, or any other email service provider.
2. Locate the Email: The subject should contain, "Event Confirmation: [date] Welcome Week Trivia - Virtual…," or Look for the email containing the Zoom link. It might be in your inbox or another folder, such as your spam or promotions folder, depending on your email settings.
3. Open the Email: Click on the email to open it. Inside the email, you should see the link to join the Zoom meeting. It may appear as a clickable button or as plain text.
4. Click on the Zoom Link: Once you've located the link, click on it. This action should open a new tab or window in your web browser.
5. Join the Meeting: You should be directed to the Zoom meeting page. Here, you may have the option to turn on your camera and microphone before joining the meeting. If so, adjust your settings as needed.
6. Enter Your Name: Before joining the meeting, you may be asked to enter your name or display name. This name will be visible to other participants in the meeting.
7. Join the Meeting: Finally, click on the "Join" or "Join Meeting" button to enter the Zoom meeting. You should now be connected to the meeting and able to participate in the discussion.

Note: If you prefer to join the meeting using the Zoom desktop or mobile app instead of your web browser, you can download the app from the Zoom website or your device's app store and sign in with your Zoom account. Then, simply click on the Zoom link in the email, and it should open the meeting in the app automatically.
